Crane Project Update

I recently finished designing and having printed these beautiful cards going to a great charity. Here is an update from my friends daughter who started the Crane Project:

Every moment of The Crane Project seems to lead us to extraordinary things. What we have been working on is just so exciting to share! We are now making our crane of hope ornaments on customized cards to help raise awareness and money for other causes. Yes, we are so, so excited about this!! We are so thankful to Our Promise to Nicholas Foundation for giving us a place in their mission to help find a cure for Batten Disease, a rare and fatal childhood brain disease. We feel so much love for this organization and are honored that our cranes of hope can lend a hand in supporting their initiatives. This holiday season give to find a cure to Batten Disease by going to

Vintage Bible Prints - more information

Here are some more photos of the Vintage Bible Prints that will soon be available on Amazon. (Available with Prime Shipping!) Here is a link to one of the products that is currently unavailable but should be live soon - Vintage Camera

A lot of the prints are nautical themed but more designs will be added in the future.  The prints sold on Amazon will be unframed but will fit in a 9" x 12" frame.  I get the frames shown in the photos at Michael's Arts and Crafts store.  The frames retail for $26.99 but they have coupons available every week and you can buy them for 40% - 50% off.

Amazon Handmade

Great news!  I was accepted into Amazon Handmade.  I applied over 2 weeks ago and just found out yesterday that they accepted me.  I am in the process of setting up the Amazon Handmade store which could take a week.  I'll let you know when my vintage prints are available for sale.  I am planning on sending the prints to Amazon so that they will be available for Prime shipping.

Vintage Prints on 1883 Bible Pages

I love vintage illustrations.  I think the designs that were done in the 1800's and early 1900's are just so unique and beautiful and done with out the aid of computers. I use to collect old books and an old Bible I had aquired from 1883 was falling apart.  I decided to create some unique art from them.  I researched unique and out of copyright prints that work well with the vintage look.  I then clean up the images in Photoshop, erased the backgrounds and turned the image dark black to optimize the printed look.

I then trim each page to 9x12 inches so that it will fit any standard 9x12 frame. The pages are 134 years old which makes them very delicate and very difficult to trim.  Each page has original red border that gives it a unique look and adds to the beauty of the print.  I then print the images on the pages using my Epson Artisan1430 printer.

The prints look amazing framed and displayed in any room of your home. They also make great one of a kind gift.  I will probably try to sell these at crafts fairs this winter or maybe I will add them for sale online.

Not your usual business card size

Recently finished these beautiful business cards for Vicki of Vicki Pfeifer Photography.  She wanted a business card that was larger than the usual 2" x 3.5" so we made hers 3" x 4".  It's ok to think out of the box.  We were able to get more of her photos on the card.  Don't forget to take advantage of using both sides of your business card to maximize your impact.
